Julie Winterbottom is a minor character on How to Get Away with Murder. She is the sister of Bonnie Winterbottom who stole Bonnie's son while her father, Robert Winterbottom lead Bonnie to believe that her baby was dead.

Early Life[]

During her childhood, Julie and her sister Bonnie Winterbottom were sexually abused by various men including their father, Robert Winterbottom who introduced various men to his daughters. ("I Love Her")

Around the end of 1994, Julie's sister, Bonnie, gave birth to her son who was conceived out of rape. Bonnie passed out during the birth and when she awoke, her father, their father, told Bonnie that her baby had died. In reality, the baby survived and Bob and Julie took the baby to St. Lincoln Hospital. Sometime later, Julie returned to the hospital where she took the baby back. The nurse Eileen Colterman who was in charge of the babies in the hospital at the time agreed to keep it secret and Eileen was branded by her staff for losing a child during her watch and was fired. Season 5[]

Years later, Julie was still doing drugs. One day, she found Cody in the car outside of the house doing presumably heroin. She opened the car door and dragged him out and onto his feet telling him how stupid he is doing drugs in the open and reminds him that cops drive by the street all the time. Unknowingly, Julie is being watched by Nate Lahey who is taking pictures of the two of them and secretly took a DNA sample from the car from Cody to test. ("It's Her Kid")
