Hi, my name is Shah and I'm the director of the party yard. So I found Carol actually when I was living in Miami for six months and I started playing with some friends, randomly loved the game. And then I came back to London and wanted to carry on And, and then I was looking for another part of top stay here and there weren't many options at the time. And also the options that we did have were just not fun. It was kind of like a Sports Center. You go and you leave and I want to create something different. So our USP of this club is that. We create the social element as well as the sports element, and the whole beauty about Paddle is that you have people playing and socializing together all at 1. And that's what I wanted to create here where people just hang out afterwards and have a drink, bring their friends and their family. They'd play, they're socialized, and they would also be active, which is I think the best combination. Community is a key aspect of our business and Foundry being right next door to us is perfect combination where anyone that becomes a Foundry member gets a membership here and we want. Run to come and use the space or all as one.

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we at FOUNDRY want to recognise the importance of mental wellbeing and the role our community can play in supporting it. š§ šOne of the biggest barriers to mental health care is stigmaāfeeling like we canāt talk about what weāre going through for fear of judgement or misunderstanding. At FOUNDRY, we believe itās so important to break that stigma and create a space where open conversations about mental health feel normal and encouraged. In our co-working spaces, we often hear how being around others helps ease feelings of isolation, but itās just as important to feel comfortable talking about the challenges we face. Whether itās with a colleague, a friend, or a professional, opening up about mental health should feel as natural as talking about any other part of our lives.By de-stigmatising mental health, we can create an environment where asking for help is seen as a strength, not a weakness. At FOUNDRY, weāre all about supporting each otherānot just today on World Mental Health Day, but every day. Letās keep having those important conversations and remember that itās okay not to be okay š¤āļø

Meet Matt Lewis Law Expert at FOUNDRY:FOUNDRY is proud to have Matt Lewis, a leading expert in commonhold and leasehold law, as part of our community. Mattās journey into this specialised area of law began during his university years, where he initially considered more traditional legal paths like criminal or human rights law. However, after a stint in residential leasehold property during his training, he discovered his true passion and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a partner and taking on complex and notable cases. In his current role, Matt helps flat leaseholders, building owners and building managers navigate the complexities of their legal positions. He assists groups of owners with their collective right to manage, guides them through the process of purchasing their landlordās interest, and supports managing agents in resolving complex legal issues within developments. His expertise is not only recognised within his firm but also across the broader legal community, where he delivers talks for a leading legal education providers, and has written for leading legal research platforms. Mattās enthusiasm for his work is matched by his appreciation for FOUNDRY, where he finds the collaborative environment a significant advantage. "FOUNDRY is a game changer! Itās a fantastic initiative that I wanted to be part of. I truly believe itās bringing life back to the High Street," Matt shares. He adds, "Itās amazing to walk the corridors and see people collaborating ā itās not forced; people genuinely want to work together." With a varied background in payroll and HR systems management, Simon Neen has found a way to bring these fields together in what he likes to call an āunholy unity.ā A true advocate for the public sector, Simon enjoys the sense of giving back to the hidden processes that keep much of society ticking over. His role allows him to use his niche expertise to craft and roll out new and, hopefully, better ways of working across the organisation.Simon took on his current role during the Covid pandemic, where working from home became a practical solution given the distance between his home and the office. While it worked well initially, Simon quickly found that isolation wasnāt his strong suit. Given the somewhat solitary nature of his role, he needed a new way of workingāone that didnāt involve a five-hour round-trip commute or sitting alone at his dining room table day in, day out. Enter FOUNDRY: a place that offers the office infrastructure and day-to-day buzz in a modern, shared environment, surrounded by like-minded professionals. Foundryās flexible setup has given Simon the breathing space to enjoy his personal passionsāwhether thatās cycling, film, music, enjoying a good pint, going for walks, hanging out with his dog, or occasionally spending time with his very patient partner. And sometimes, if heās lucky, he manages to combine a few of those activities into one go.
