continues from this

near the Nile river in Cairo, Egypt, were the sand roughs against your feet, two vizards train there own skills, the sun at scorching heat blazes through the blue sky, not a cloud in sight. about a mile away is a bar were they have come from, repleneshing their energy. the two vizards, master and student, train in this intense heat. Kano, a 17 year old man trains relentlessy. his white hoodie left beside the area, and sweat dripping out his soaked black tee, his blue jeans covered with the tan sand that blows with the wind has he glides across the sand, and bare feet scratched by the graviling sand.

Kano whipes his glistening forehead, and brushes the wet hair off his eyes

"I think its time for another short break Rai" he says, breath abit heavy from this raging heat. Kano walks over and slings his hoodie over his shoulder and grabs his shoes. "im just about run out again."

They have been training here for a couple weeks, and still Kano has not adjusted to this heat. He heads back to the bar.

"God, I need another beer" he complains on his way back to the bar.

The five foot tall boy took off his mask. He had bright blonde hair, that was dyed that color, in a shag cut for the exception of a lock of hair braided on his right side. He looked like he was about thirteen years old, perhaps a little on the skinny side, but not too terrible. On the corner of each eye was lightning bolt tattoo, one red and one blue. His eye color was also blue-grey. "Well, Kano, if you didn't wear black or a sweatshirt, you might last a bit longer. Or didn't drink alchohol. I do admit that you have made strides in terms of power and strength, but controlling your hollow powers still suck." The kid known as Raiden Arashi scolded his student. It was an odd pair. Luckily, they were still inside Cairo's barrier. How things have changed in the world.

Rai himself wore a white T-shirt with a green cloud on the front, blue, denim jean shorts, white tennis shoes, and an orange baseball cap. His zanpakutou was on his hip with a light brown belt keeping it there. Kano and Raiden have been together for a while now as student and master respectively. While this has put a dent in his plans for training with his bankai, he didn't mind that much. Just as long as Nika didn't get any stronger.

Rai caught up with his student with a single shunpo.

"You know, this is just a suggestion, but don't drink alchohol in this heat and go shopping for...lighter clothes." The kid looked up at his student in a hopeful expression. He was starting to get annoyed by his complaints about the heat. He would have said something about Kano's hair color, but it was bright enough to help him. But new clothes to fit this weather would be best.

"bah" Kano rebuttled "it's a tee, and ima take it off soon" he drank his beer. "And the beer does me just fine, its just we been out there for like two days straight". he dropped his hoodie to stay at the bar, and ordered an energy drink. after paying he whent by the doorway were a breeze flung through do the pressure from inside compared to out. he was about nine inches taller than Rai.

"so next ill use my shikia" he spoke with abit confedence. the breeze dried his light sandy blonde hair, his deep blue eyes stared out into the dessert. and his siliver ring reflected the suns light and glimmered brightly. "so when do we get out of here any way?"

He finished off his beer and energy drink wich he mixed.

"hmmm" Kano just remember something and ate some salt. "you better too, it holds in the liquids so you dont dehydrate yourself" he said to his master. Kano sat down drying his longer mopish hair so it would stay out of his eyes.

Rai just sighed on his bar stool and looked down. Behind him was a pyramid of empty glasses that had energy drinks and water with no ice. The stack was easily four feet tall on the counter. "Alchohol dehydrates you. I don't care what you say about your liver, it is a scientific fact that alchohol dehydrates you. Besides, I've barely worked up a sweat. I've dyed my hair a bright color, wear minimal clothing and light colors, and I'm wearing a hat that's been cut so that my hollow mask's spines don't kill it. Also, there is that fact." Rai pointed behind him with his thumb, at the stack of glasses. Rai was barely sweating. He was used to this heat, and was dressed appropriately for it.

The boy looked up at the cieling fan, leaning on the edge of the bar counter as to not knock down the glasses.

"Gonna use shikai when we get back at it huh? You may actually make me draw my sword. Though you better be on your toes, you'll probably get hurt. As far as when we get out of here...you really want to? I know we haven't really seen any real action for weeks now, but we don't have any actual friends or safe haven. This bar and its wonderful bartender slash owner is about it. Thoughts of anywhere in specific you wanna go? And don't say the Wasteland, that area is a little too hot for us. For that spot, perhaps when both of us have bankai and not just me."

Rai then looked at his student, standing near the entry way. He didn't say it, but despite having bankai for eighty years, he was still getting used to it...the few times he was able to train with it. Him training Kano didn't help matters either. But unless someone killed Nika, there was time to spare.

"Heh" Kano snickered abit."Yea, i need to get used to my own shikia."Kano motioned out the door."lets stay here abit longer. we can head out after a good nights rest." the heat flung out at Kano. He took of his shirt and tossed it with his hoodie and shoes."Bartender-san, please make sure no one steals my stuff" he said with a gentle smile as he walked out to the desert.

After reaching the safe distance Kano got into stance, he held his hands together as if to pray.

"Okami, supureddo yori sono Hitomatome" Kano's hands glew with a black and white pattern and then he spread his hands apart revealing two sets of 4 rings, 4 on each hand. "alright Okami, lets see how long we can last" He murmered.

"che, probably not that long" said a wolf, the wolf was magnifecently white with a blue moon crest that he bore on his forehead. and a red tooth dangling from his neck.

"Shaddup" Kano said mockingly as he set in his stance, he slid out his right leg a head while leaning most his weight on it, he had his right arm set in from and his left arm behind him but not bended.

Rai followed his student outside and witnessed him unleashing his shikai, being four rings on each hand. "Interesting. But somehow fitting to your specialty of hand to hand combat. I guess we can decide where to go in the morning." The kid drew his sword, a normal katana. "Although, you should still use your mask. I am." Raiden clawed at his face, revealing his mask once more.

He held his sword in his right hand.

"Your move. I've told you I sometimes get carried away when I use my sword. Be careful." Rai warned his student with some concern. Kano may have made strides since when they first started, but he still wasn't strong enough for him to consider a worthy opponent. He wasn't going to use his normal style of combat with his sword because of that reason.

(OOC: Two and a half tier difference is still a pretty good gap, but you still stand a chance now compared to RotR.)

"alright" Kano swipes his hand sideways dawning his mask. He rushes foreward a in a fast dash, and does a round house kick against his master's head. he then keeps the motion going and does a couple kicks in the same spin motion as the round house kick. Kano then slides up to a 180degrees horizantal and kicks off of Rai.

He slides his hand against the sand slowling himself down and spins around. he rushes forward again and jumps in the air and extends his leg for a high jump kick. Kano changes it last minute and jumps high in the air of of his masters face. Reaching the heigh of about twenty feet. Kano saumersalts in the sky and kicks down and extending his right fist behind him preparing for a straight down punch.

Raiden ducked to avoid the first kick, jumped over the second one, and backtracked and spun to avoid the third. Kano got up on his feet and kicked off of him, making Rai stumble back a bit. As Kano rushed in, so did he. But the taller man jumped and aimed a kick at his face. Rai stopped and put up his sword to block, but he stopped within centimeters of his sword's blade and just went higher. Kano then slammed downward with another kick. Kano's fighting was among the more unpredictable ones that he has encountered.

Raiden used shunpo to dodge it completely and appear thirty feet above Kano. The boy charged downward with a downward slash. Only to disappear, leaving an afterimage in his wake that continue the strike, but would go straight through everything and do no damage. He appeared behind Kano, aiming a sword strike at his right arm, then aiming a stab at his gut. Rai used shunpo again to Kano's left side, and at even height, swung three times with his sword before backing off. In his left hand was a blue-grey cero charging, though it was toned down to Kano's level. It remained in his left hand as he awaited Kano's response.

As soon as Rai dashed towards Kano ducked while spining causing the sand to swirl around him. Taking full advantage of this sand cloud he pushed and jumped out to the right just to see Rai slash at him three times. Kano got his by one of the slashes on his left arm, but blocked the other two by punching with each fist making sure the blade clashed with his rings. Some sand got into kanos eyes, and by the time he rubed it out, his master was gone. "huh" Kano searched around and noticed Raiden in the air charging the cero.

"Kano, use my shield" spoke the wolf within him in a whisper."ill try" kano mumbled to himself. He spread his legs to the side and punched his fists together, a burst of white and black energy surged out engulfing his amrs into two shields "Hauringu Toku!" Kano set one arm into defencive protecting his face and chest and charged a crimson red cero on his index finger.

Rai raised an eyebrow underneath his mask. He uped the cero's power a little bit, no where near his standard but slightly stronger than Kano's. He pointed it at the shields and fired the blue-grey energy beam, aiming for dead center. Immediately, he started charging another cero, and in three seconds he was done, though it was at Kano's cero's power. And again, he held it. Rai is a cero expert, and can charge it quickly with double the normal cero's strength.

He stayed up in the air, contrary to what he would normally do. If this was a real battle, he would be on top of him, swinging his blade and firing his standard cero at point blank range. If any of their training sessions were real fights, Kano would be dead a hundreds times over. But through these training sessions, Kano has gotten much stronger, had become just strong enough to stand a small chance against him. Despite training Kano for a long time, he still wasn't used to training someone else. Soon, Rai would have to stop, and let Kano train on his own. So that when they go at it, he won't have to hold back or use what he's learned against Kano.
