Best Terraria Ranger Loadout Guide 1.4.x! (Ranged Master Mode, Pre-Hardmode & Hardmode Progression) - YTread (2024)

Hello guys, today I bring you another great

guide

: my complete

ranger

or

ranger

terraria

gear

guide

for 1.4 1.4.0 up to 1.4.3 and later. This is the

best

class build and class specific weapons, armor and accessories for everyone. game stages suitable for

master

mode

, expert

mode

and normal classic mode as well as difficulty levels, this will be organized around game

progression

and settings for game bosses and events, if you want to advance, I have set up chapters with timestamps in the description. so you can get there and see what you want. For general information, the

best

modifier for most

ranged

weapons is unrealistic, except for those that have no recoil, in which case they are usually daemonic weapons and throwing consumables that can't get modifiers, so I'll cover again, from 1.4. 0 up to 1.4.3 as these are current on different platforms at the moment, most of this video will apply in any case and I will mention where things are different as of this recording, the PC is on 1.4.3 while it is mobile. and console are now on 1.4.0 and people change should get one very soon too, actually January 4th, this is 2022 soon and anyway all current platforms are expected to get the final update eventually 1.4.3, so moving through the early game, so this is the early pre-hard mode when you start the game, the initial wood and mineral based armor sets are not class specific, so you should try to get at least silver or tungsten armor, it is very optional whether to go for gold or platinum armor.

Caving potions can be extremely useful to get higher level minerals much faster. The only ranger specific armor available from the start of the game is the fossil armor, so if you're playing a specific class or want to specialize right away, that's the option you want to go for fossil armor and it's a good set, but it is also very difficult to obtain early on, it requires 60 Tough Fossils from the Underground Desert, which is a difficult area in the game right now. the game at 1.4.1 onwards fishing oasis boxes can be a safer way to get tough fossils instead of fighting for them, so to speak, in the underground desert.

More Interesting Facts About,

best terraria ranger loadout guide 1 4 x ranged master mode pre hardmode hardmode progression...

At the beginning of the game, you can use simple

ranged

weapons such as shurikens, throwing knives, and javelins. a blowgun, a snowball cannon or if you can get it a paintball gun, throwing knives can also be upgraded to poison knives for increased damage which is actually a little known thing, maybe there and it's quite useful, it is possible to beat the first two bosses. Even with these weapons, any of these are mentioned, although there are certainly better options other than that, the general option is to create the best bow you can with the materials you have available.

Ultimately you probably want a platinum gold or even better a demon. or sinew bow, depending on what you can get your hands on, a good bow will be much more effective with good arrows of course, so wooden and fire arrows are fine, but jester arrows and frost arrows will probably be the best for now. Also get weapons pretty quickly if you're willing to go into corruption or crimson if you're ready to go there, the first shadow orb or crimson heart you break should drop a weapon and some musket balls aka bullets once you have the First shoot, um, if you have a house available for an NPC, the arms dealer will move in and from the arms dealer you will be able to buy the mini shark and some other useful items, then the first bosses, we are talking about King Slime and the eye of cthulhu to prepare for those, ideally you want to save some life crystals quickly, you can go from 180 health or less to as high as possible if you save a bunch of them, use them enough as soon as you get them to get to at 180 health, but then you might want to start saving them until you're ready for the fight with the eye of cthulhu and/or the goblin army because the eye of cthulhu and the goblin army will start spawning naturally once you reach 200 health, so get to 180 and you can You can get up to 400 on pre-hard mode with just life crystals, so you basically want to save.

Was it 10 11? I think I'll take you the rest of the way and I could be totally wrong on that number. My brain doesn't work. right now, but you still want to save the rest to get from 180, ideally as close or up to 400 before starting that particular boss fight event, it helps to add campfires, heart lanterns, bass statues, garden gnomes and sunflowers around the area where you will fight these bosses or any boss, you can build some platform levels, optionally with some stairs to go up and down, or you can just fight them on a long stretch of open terrain, make sure you can cross easily a large area if you're going to do it on open terrain, just make sure it's flat enough that you can or you know you can use a hammer to hammer the terrain and get the angles right so you can basically run continuously. without hitting anything and that will make it much easier in terms of equipment.

Silver or tungsten armor is sufficient for most people. You can go up or down depending on your skill level and confidence. Again, the only ranger specific armor at the moment. The point is fossil armor. A good bow is still the preferred choice when it comes to weapons. Jester's arrows will help you with the boss's minions and can damage bosses while passing through them. That's called drilling. better damage against the boss itself, particularly in the second phase eye of cthulhu, you may want to use freeze arrows because that will inflict what is called a freeze debuff to deal continuous extra damage, especially if you are playing as expert in

master

mode. he charges you a lot, very quickly and if you have that frost burn affecting him, that will reduce his health even while dodging most other early ranged and thrown weapons can also work well enough, it's even possible to get a gun. uh so early again when breaking your first shadow orb or crimson heart, don't break more than two of those, uh, until you're ready to fight the next bosses, the devourer of worlds or the brain of cthulhu, getting your first weapon, um again will also.

Get your arms dealer and you can get more stuff that way, in terms of accessories, general movement accessories, like Hermes boots, rocket boots, a grappling hook, a quick mount, etc., double jump bottles, wings budding, even a frog's leg will help you. vertically dodge anything with a warning modifier, anything you might have that has protection or even armor can be equipped anyway if you have empty slots for extra defense or you can equip anything that has threat or luck or something like that for a Increased damage on the Blood Moons Shark Tooth Necklace decreases enemy defense, making it a great option against buses in pre-hard mode from 1.4.3 onwards, if you can gather enough demonite or crimtan you can create magilluminescence which is a great accessory that gives you light when it's dark and a great speed boost that will help you when you are exploring underground, it will help you at night and it will also help you with boss fights due to the extra speed boost , so again, that's 1.4.3 in terms of loot from these bosses again 1.4.3 onwards, if you haven't created it yet, after you defeat the eye of cthulhu, it will drop some demonite or crimtain and you can use it to create that magilluminescence on all platforms, so if you haven't created a demon bow or tendon again, you'll get it or from I've Cthulhu, so it's a good idea at that point, the most useful direct item from these bosses It is the only cthulhu expert or master mode shield, the king slime slime mount is also quite useful and that is in all difficulties, so the king slime slime mount is also useful against the eye of cthulhu.

You know the order of these bosses doesn't really matter, you don't even have to. fight the slime king, but if you do and take out the slime, you can also use it against the other cthulu quite effectively. um you'll probably fight an army of goblins around the same time as the eye of cthulhu because again when you get to 200 health they'll start arriving randomly, they'll appear sometime after you've successfully defeated an army of goblins, um, bow their jesters' arrows after you have successfully defeated them, you can find the goblin handyman that you can buy. rocket boots and the tinker's workshop of the elf tinker and then you can start combining accessories the tinker's workshop will allow you to create ghost boots amphibian boots combine bottles with balloons, etc., another little aside here food and potions food and potions They can be very useful particularly against bosses, so use them if you're ever fighting bosses or events or whatever.

The Well Fed perk is very important if you are playing on Expert and Master mode for several reasons, particularly speed and regeneration, there are now three tiers of the Well Fed perk, so save the biggest, most buffing foods for boss fights. , is my recommendation, even if you are playing on classic difficulty, food will still help you and of course you should have health potions and you can use other potions to give yourself boosts aka buffs, so good potions include health regeneration. Iron Skin, Quickness, Thorns, Stamina and Rage or Wrath, if you are using bows, archery potions will increase both the damage and speed of your arrows.

IM not going to do it. go into potion recipes here i have a potions guide you can check out and there is a section in there on enhancement potions so check it out if you want more details on potions so next up is the world eater or the brain of cthulhu , this depends on what evil is in your world, if you have a corrupted world then you will get the world devourer, if you have a crimson world then you will get the brain of cthulhu, so you will probably want to take on these bosses next. They are more or less necessary since update 1.4, so it is necessary to obtain the necessary materials to create a pickaxe that can then extract materials from the underworld that you will eventually need, so in terms of equipment you can use equipment similar to those.

Previous bosses with any upgrade, you can manage any additional items and materials you may have. The slime mount also works well against the world eater, especially in expert and master mode, because it will help you get hit by the world eater's spit. on those difficulty levels it doesn't exist in classic in terms of weapons, uh, spiked balls, actually from the goblin armory, this is the only place where they are really useful if you place them around your arena which can help a lot against both. bosses, but particularly against the world devourer, you can actually throw spiky balls directly at him, ideally I'd suggest doing it at his face because you don't want to break him into too many pieces, so if you throw them directly at the world devourer, that's going to do Tons of damage and it's actually a great way to defeat the World Eater, that's my recommendation.

Spiky ball eater worlds, you can even throw them at Cthulhu's brain and his minions too, but otherwise, for the first one or for the eater. of worlds and for the first phase of cthulhu's brain you want weapons that hit multiple targets, spiky balls are one of those, but otherwise the option again is a good bow with jesters or unholy arrows, so the only exception to those arrows is the brain of the second phase of cthulhu for the second phase of the brain of cthulhu you want a single target and weapons that inflict debuffs, those will be better for that second phase of that boss, so the frost arrows are the better arrows at this point against that boss and the flames.

Arrows can also work as they will inflict a debuff with some extra damage and also a noticeable effect that will help you track which of the brains is real because in the second phase of the fight the Cthulhu brain will project these illusions which could be experts. and just master, I can't remember offhand, but weapons can work against these bosses too. There are no armor-piercing bullets available yet, which limits the weapons a bit at this stage, but again, the weapons will be great on the brain. of cthulhu's second phase, particularly the mini shark, might be the most effective weapon in this stage.

It will help you take down the World Eater. Yes, you can take it down and the brain of Cthulhu's creeper minions, you want to keep them under control. Obviously, the rapid fire of the mini shark willwill help remove them quickly. A blowgun with poison darts or bone javelins can also work particularly against the brain of the second face of Cthulu. A flare gun can work quite well against the World Eater you can shoot. it's kind of like along the worm and it will basically go through everything and damage everything. It's very low damage, but it sets him on fire and goes all the way through, so it's actually a decent option, um, still is.

Again, it is also possible to beat these bosses with the early throne or other weapons, but they have less damage, so it will be more difficult, since against shurikens, they actually pierce, they will go through many segments of the world eater or go through the brain of Cthulhu's minions, but the damage is very low, so you have to be careful with that if you want to rush him or something, if you have the skill for it, you can do it. Molotovs also work well against these bosses. Grenades can work if you're careful and even a harpoon. can work if you use it right in terms of loot from these bosses again, defeating any of these bosses will allow you to create a stronger pickaxe which will allow you to mine hellstone and obsidian.

You can also create other equipment with demonite or crimtane and the other materials, they drop the pickaxe, it is the most important and for that you need the additional materials. of these bosses in crimson worlds, after you have defeated the brain of cthulhu, you have the option of creating a crimson armor that is not class specific, but is a nice and powerful set that you can actually use for the rest of the pre-hard mode in expert or master mode, each of these bosses also drops a powerful accessory that you must equip and will probably use much of the rest of the game.

Both accessories are good. Cthulhu's brain has been updated and 1.4 so it is useful now, it is actually very useful so keep that in mind too, so next we will talk about meteorites and underworld loot, so after defeating any of the bosses mentioned above, you may have a meteor land in your world. They used to land after you smashed things, one of the things, but now only meteorites only come after you defeat those bosses in 1.4 so the meteorite crash site can be mined, you'll need a pickaxe strong enough to to create a star. mini shark cannon plus 20 meteor bars and five fallen stars and the star cannon is possibly the most powerful weapon in pre-hard mode it is a very very powerful weapon the only problem is that it uses fallen stars so You need to collect stars all the time to have ammo and you'll need to save a lot of them if you want to use them, say for a boss fight.

Other than that, you can optionally go down to the underworld at this point and gather better materials that you don't really need yet as a ranged player, um, but if you're lucky, you might find some life force potions in pots in the underworld and you'll want to save life force potions for boss fights, those are really useful hellstone bars require hellstone obsidian and a hellforge, so hellstone is usually mined under lava or around the lava in the underworld again. You'll need that pickaxe you created from the last few bosses. The obsidian comes. You can find obsidian anywhere in the water. it meets lava and you can actually pour water over lava or vice versa to create obsidian if you want so you're going to need some of that and that also requires that pickaxe to mine and forge the health that you'll find.

Sitting in the underworld mostly, you can even find them in underworld chess for a ranged player, although the main objective in the underworld would be to create a bow of molten fury which requires 15 bars of hellstone. You can also create hellfire arrows. I don't use them. a lot, but they are good, so they require a hundred wooden arrows plus a bar of hellstone to make 100 hellfire arrows, you will want to craft a molten pickaxe, you don't need to do it now, you don't need to do it. Do that right away, but you'll want to create a molten pickaxe before finishing pre-hard mode before defeating the wall of flesh, so be careful not to throw any voodoo dolls into the lava of the voodoo demons carrying dolls on their feet when you're in the underworld until you're ready to fight the wall of flesh that we'll get to in a moment, where there are some that I would fight before, so um also while we're at it.

Here, hard mode preparation, I recommend that you start mining by digging some strategically placed elevator shafts. Obviously, you probably had to dig to the underworld. If you made it there, you'll probably want to make some of those gaps to isolate the evil biomes. the rest of your world separate the evil biomes and other biomes from each other, you don't have to separate all your biomes, but only the evil biomes when you reach hard mode after defeating the wall of flesh will start to spread to prevent you from separating them by digging a space three blocks wide or three blocks high around them.

Replace any blast-exposed blocks that may or will cause grass to grow. Personally, I like to eventually dig pits on either side of the snow and desert biomes and even one further down. in the middle specifically because the corruption and crimson and also the hallowed that will come later tend to spread through those biomes particularly quickly once you defeat the wall of flesh and enter hard mode. Those spread particularly quickly through ice and sand, so that's why I'd like to know how to divide them into a few sections so they don't spread throughout the whole thing too quickly and easily, so I like to do that before defeating them.

Walla Flash, but um, and yes, you will need the I need them vertically and horizontally if you want to do that, I go to each side and down the middle and then the same thing up, down and down the middle, that's what I like to do personally, but it's up to you how much you care. In reality, it's not absolutely necessary to do that and there are ways to convert things back later, but I find it much easier if you do. You can see in my little diagram that I put red lines where I definitely do that and purple lines where I would.

Definitely consider digging essentially so you don't have to dig them all the way to the underworld, but the ones that are closer to your base in particular, I would dig them all the way to the underworld because you want to protect your base area and that's all arguably overkill, you don't really have You have to stop Hallow from spreading, which halo only appears once you go into hard mode, so you can argue that it's overkill, but I find it easier than trying to save everything after hard mode starts because the game becomes much harder on hard mode after defeating the wall of flesh again.

The extent of all that also depends on whether you plan to maintain your world and how fast you play. If you rush throughout the game, they won't spread out as much. So far, but that's just my advice, so next up is the queen bee, so the queen bee is technically an optional fight. But defeating her can be very useful. It is best to fight her in a large hive or other open area in the underground jungle from 1.4 queen bee. she can get enraged if she's too far from the jungle, which can happen, and it's happened to me even on the surface of the jungle, even if you think, oh, I'll fight her, just on the surface of the jungle, make some platforms that let her I have done get.

I got angry only because I wasn't close enough to the jungle blocks on the ground, so I like to do it in a large hive or other large open area in the underground jungle, so in terms of equipment, you can again use similar equipment to some of those. In previous fights you definitely want as much life as possible for this bus so try to get to 400, any upgrades you can get for other weapons and accessories and of course potions will also help on the crimson worlds, the crimson armor again is a good class, uh. The specific option, uh, demonic tendon or bow of molten fury, will be the recommendations here with jesters or unholy or frozen arrows, either of them are a job.

The jester's arrows are faster and help kill the bees he shoots, but the frost burns will do more damage because they weaken weapons like the musket or boomstick, if you can find one with meteorite or silver or tungsten bullets, any of them will work quite well. The meteorite can go through one thing, so it might help take out the bees, but the silver and tungsten might be easier to get and it actually does a little more damage on impact, so that might actually be something. from 1.4.1 onwards, but anyway, it's a good idea to equip a bezel wire to avoid being poisoned by her attacks, she will poison you, so if you get a deposit that will prevent the most important reason to fight the queen bee as a ranger in terms of loot is to make the bee's knees buckle there is only a chance that she will drop it and many bosses there is only a chance that they will drop certain things but you may have to Fight the queen bee several times if you want to get the bee's knees bow, but I highly recommend you combine it with wooden arrows.

The bee's knees will get you through the rest of the pre. -Hard mode because basically with bee knees you shoot wooden arrows, it turns them into bees and those bees are going to do tons of damage, they are really great against bosses until you reach the meat wall and until you defeat. walla meat and entering hard mode are aids would be the other main reason to fight queen b as they will be useful against other mode bosses before hard mode and a similar effect basically they are grenades that shoot bees, she also drops the bees. wax that can be used to create more benades or you can use it to create the hornet staff, which is a minion, so even if you are not a summoner, you can have at least one minion, and there are other ways to get a couple more , even if you are not a summoner, so I will mention it here and there, but it is up to you if you want to mix classes or be an absolutely pure ranger, but you can create the hornet staff, you can also create the imp staff. of the Hellstone Bars and that will give you another little extra boost against the other bosses.

If you get the honeycomb drop from the queen bee, you can use it to upgrade a shark tooth necklace in the coppersmith's workshop and turn it into a stinger necklace. even stacking both together, the shark tooth necklace plus the stinger necklace, will stack which will lower the enemy defense even more which is great again against bosses. The stinger necklace is the better of the two if you only have room for one in expert and master. mode, she will always drop the hive pack which makes your bees even more powerful, so if you are using bee knees, if you are using bean aids, equip that hive pack and you will get stronger bees which will do much more damage later. by defeating her, if you have a valid house available, you can have the witch doctor come and move into your house, and he sells the blowgun, which can be potentially useful, especially if you craft some poison darts to go with it, not surprising. gun but it's an option now here's something that's in 1.4.3 onwards just don't know if they'll ever make more updates, 1.4.2 was supposed to be the latest content and then they made 1.4.3 and introduced the deer clubs , so Deerclops is definitely an optional boss, but it actually drops some nice loot again in terms of gear.

It's actually possible to win this fight with a fairly low level year if you have the right strategy, you can actually do this with previous stuff even earlier. queen b and some of those others potentially, but I would recommend a year similar to the one suggested against queen b and b's knees, if you have them, will be excellent in this fight, so in terms of strategy, my suggestion is to find a long flat stretch in or near the snow biome and build a stretch of platforms on top of it, basically as high as you can jump, put ladders on each end of the platforms, so basically the strategy is to run back and forth along the top level of platforms to try to get the beloved sticks.

Follow you up the stairs when you change direction at the end and it will and um that's actually if you can get the deer to clap on the platforms it will make the fight a lot easier and you'll see what I mean. If you try it, I already made a deer clap guide so you can check it out if you want all the details and see how it works. In terms of loot, the most useful item of the Deerclocks is possibly the eye bone, which you could What I saw at the beginning of the video actually summon Chester's pet, which is a moving piggy bank.

Isa pet that is like a monster chest and follows you everywhere and you can click on it at any time to open your piggy bank so it's tremendously useful uh some other drops are fun or useful um the bone helm is kind of funny, you might have seen me using that at first too, someone has hands like claws that kill things, so it's cool if you're wandering underground or something you know. explore um, the pumatic horn is the only ear dropping ranged weapon that's actually reasonably powerful, you can experiment with that if you want, but moving forward again. skeletron skeletron can be fought earlier with older gear if you're on classic difficulty but on Expert or Master Skeleton it's very difficult so I've saved it for this point.

Ideally, you'll want to get all of the equipment mentioned above before taking on Skeletron. If you're at the expert or master level, that ideally includes wooden bee knees. The arrows and the hive pack as well as other powerful weapons again include the bee knees, the star cannon is great and if you are very careful you can use grenades if you don't have any of those higher level weapons and bows like the molotov co*cktails of molten fury. things like that can work too, equip the best movement accessories you have available and anything else that gives you a bit of an advantage, the stinger necklace or shark tooth necklace will be very useful if you got an ammo box from the trip .

The merchant always uses that before a boss fight, it will save you tons of ammo on expert or master again. You can use the World Eater's Worm Scarf if you're corrupted or the Cthulhu Brain's Confusion Brain, respectively, depending. What kind of illness do you have? Those items again make great accessories in terms of loot after defeating Skeletron. He doesn't actually drop much, but you can explore the dungeon once you've defeated him and then you can keep an eye out for some. great dungeon loot, like in the case of a ranger, the pistol is something you will have to pay attention to because you can take a pistol and craft the phoenix blaster with a pistol and 10 bars of hellstone and that is a great weapon, don't throw it away.

Remove any bones you collect. Actually, you might normally think that the bones are not useful and you can technically throw them as a throwing weapon, but you want to keep the bones because once you collect enough of them as a ranged player, you can craft the necro armor, which is the other armor set to use. distance from previous to hard mode and it is much better and will help you a lot so craft that necro armor when you get enough bones if you get a nazar or a cobalt shield keep them too you can use them to create the ank shield later in the game if you find an alchemy table or a spell.

The table is basically small funky looking tables that you will find in the dungeon that have little animations. Both can be very useful too. The alchemy table will basically save you materials when you are brewing potions. The bewitching table, if you don't mind. mixing classes uh you can right click or right click for a buff that will give you a second minion so you can go from one minion to two that way there is also a summoning potion so you can potentially get three minions even if you're not a summoner, um, even without any summoner specific equipment, that will give you a boost at any point in the game, just get the best minion, you can use those things and you can get three of them, you'll also want to find a key of shadow in the dungeon to unlock shadow chests in the underworld.

Ranged players may want to search for shadow chess in the underworld to try to get the hellwing bow, especially if you don't have bee knees, you can search for the hellwing bow and shadow. chest and uh, that's a great option, you can possibly argue which one is better. Both are great at this point in all 1.4 versions. You can also gather the materials to create the Void Vault or Void Bag, which are also useful. basically an extra piggy bank, but the empty bag floats in the air like a money trough or like Chester, you know you can use it anywhere, he doesn't like it, he just follows you, although you have to summon him, then you can finish your preparations. stop hard mode at this point and head to the underworld if you haven't already because next on the wall of flesh is the boss of the underworld, the last boss of what is called pre-hard mode when you defeat the wall of flesh, your world switches to hard mode, so in terms of how to fight the wall of flesh, much of the same gear I recommended for skeletron, but necro armor is definitely recommended, which is your number one best build in pre-hard mode for a ranged player again the bee knees or the halloween bow either with wooden arrows because the hellwing bow also turns wooden arrows into basically flaming bats so either of those bows will be great, since the nades or the star canyon are also highly recommended.

Especially if you are on expert or master mode, the last part of the fight against the wall of flesh will start to move faster and faster, so you will want to finish it at the end quickly, so I suggest assists and star cannons, save them for that. part um so the phoenix blaster again is also another good addition, great weapon, several other weapons can work as well. The Terra Spark boots are ideal in terms of footwear and other for most other boss fights. I recommend the amphibious boots actually because of the vertical takeoff speed, but Terraspark.

The boots allow you to run on the lava and give you some immunity if you fall into the lava, which can actually save you a lot of time because your alternatives when fighting the wall of flesh are to build an extremely long bridge that you can want to be shockproof. wash because you will have expert and master mode again. You will have lava slimes spewing lava and ruining your bridge, so you can create a very long bridge so you can run a very long distance because it is basically a running fight, the meat wall will just come towards you, so you need an extremely long bridge. long or the Terra Spark boots will allow you to run on lava, that can be a little trickier. a problem because if you're throwing bean aids, if they go into the lava they just disappear, you'll have to make sure they hit something so they actually explode and go after the wall, but otherwise you can also equip an obsidian shield to protect yourself from the fire blocks uh the hell stone and the hell bricks will set you on fire and that hurts so that can also be useful or you can use obsidian skin potions for longer lasting immunity and those will save you from everything that. stuff like that obsidian skin potions are also potentially very useful for this fight um if you don't mind mixing again a spellcasting table and a summoning potion can get you up to three minions it gives you a bit of an advantage if you have some minions. attacking along with your weapons uh, in terms of meat wall loot, the most important ranger specific drop is the ranger emblem, so if you don't get the meat wall ranger emblem, you might want to fight against him again and again.

Until you do, that's called farming, the ranger emblem gives you an extra 15 ranged damage and you'll eventually stack it with other accessories to really improve your damage output. Another interesting item is the meat wall mechanical assault rifle which is an excellent weapon to start your journey in hard mode and you will always get the telephone hammer that you need if you want to generate the new world or the new minerals in your world. I say if you want, we'll talk about that in a second in expert or master mode, you'll also get the demon heart, which you should definitely use right away.

It gives you one more accessory slot, you can only use one, but you will get one more accessory slot and that will give you a good edge, of course, too, so then we go into hard mode after defeating the meat wall, probably you want to get the new oars so you can use that pwn hammer to smash some altars and basically spawn those oars in the underground of your world or alternatively you can go fishing and you can fish boxes and you can get minerals that way, if you don't destroy the altars, you can delay the appearance of new bosses and the new events that come in hard mode and the other.

The thing about destroying altars is that there is a small chance that there is a one in three chance for each altar you destroy that it will randomly spawn on an evil or holy block somewhere in your world and that will create an evil expansion area. or of the sacred somewhere. and you may not find it for a long time which may end up ruining your world a bit, but fishing may be slower, there used to be a trick where you could fish on pre-hard mode and open the boxes and mode difficult, but they took care of that problem, so you can't do that anymore.

If you want to do the fishing route, you will have to wait until you are on hard mode. You could prepare fishing holes before going into hard mode and then just go fishing in your fishing holes once you get there and you can place them in areas where enemies won't attack you as much. It's an option, but it will take a while if you're just fishing for boxes, of course. you can use box potions, fishing potions, sonar potions, etc. If you really want to get into fishing, I also made a fishing guide a long time ago, but if you generate minerals underground by breaking altars like in pre-hard mode.

Spelunker potions will be very useful to find or underground and another option, this is your third option to avoid all minerals completely. If you are prepared, you can take on Queen Slime. It's going to be difficult if you don't have armor on hard mode, but you might also know that getting some basic upgrades and then facing Queen Slime is an option because if you farm Queen Slime you can get the crystal assassin armor and unless you are very skilled, you can I don't want to go this route, you can mix and match a bit, but the crystal assassin armor is actually quite viable for a ranged player.

I would say that of all the classes, the crystal assassin armor is probably the best for range because it has reasonable range. Good defense compared to other ranged sets at this stage of the game. However, it has a lower offensive boost compared to some of the others, so there's a bit of a trade-off there and keep in mind again that your Corruption, Crimson and Holy. now it will be spreading and you'll probably want to keep an eye on that, you don't necessarily have to, but you probably do, you don't need to worry as much, but it will lead to more difficult enemies, so you might want to consider trying to keep some pristine. forest, say, and even underground, the original areas are much easier than the holy or evil areas, especially at this stage of the game, if you decide to make your way through the three new ore levels, keep in mind that you must Create a mithril anvil or aura calcum for higher levels, also known as an anvil in hard mode.

You will need 10 Mithril or 12 Oracalcum Bars to create your new anvil and then eventually you will also need to create an Adamantite or Titanium Forge. 30 adamantite or titanium armor or more a hell forge on your new mithril or a calcium anvil, so you will need 30 adamantite or titanium or more a health clock that you got from the underworld and then take them to your new anvil and you will be able to create the new forge when you get to the adamantite or titanium or rip point, you actually have a choice, you can create the armor for whichever of those minerals is in your world, you always get one or the other with all the oars, um. the different levels for you to get adamantite or titanium or go fishing, you can get both, but you can also, instead of crafting the adamantite or titanium armor, the other option is to go for frost armor, so the armor of Adamantite requires 54 types of adamant.

While titanium armor requires 59 titanium bars, frost armor actually requires a little less ore, but requires farming somewhat more, so frost armor increases melee and ranged attacks, giving you allows you to use weapons intended for melee and ranged classes at the same time. It has a higher defense compared to the Adamantite or Titanium set in 1.4.0, although it actually has a lower damage output than those other sets in 1.4.1 onwards, it has actually been buffed to be stronger, so in 1.4.0 he inflicts frost burn with his attacks, um, which is the same as those frost arrows, but you can do that and have other debuffs, like cursed arrows or icker, at the same time, which gives you allows you to inflict multiple debuffs, but in 1.4.1 onwards, they actually buffed the armor debuffFrost.

Burn, has now become Frost Bit which is a stronger version, much more powerful, also the Frost armor got an additional 10 damage boost, so the Frost armor in 1.4.1 onwards becomes more stronger than the adamantite or titanium set across the board, more or less. So in short version 1.4.0 you might want to use adamantite or titanium armor unless you really want to do both in melee, in which case it's still a pretty decent option, but in 1.4.1 onwards if you don't . You don't mind farming ice golems for frost cores, which is no small feat, but it's clearly a better option to wear frost armor if you're willing to go to the trouble of getting the frost cores, it requires three frost cores. of ice golems plus 46.

Adamantite or titanium rods add a mithril or calcium anvil, so in terms of weapons in the initial pre-hard mode or sorry in the initial hard mode, the repeaters based on Craftable ores are actually a good option for an easy upgrade in the initial hard mode. You can also get the marrow ice bow the shadow flame bow and the daedalus storm bow all good options that are available from the start in terms of weapons again you can get that meat wall mechanical assault rifle you can even fight him again to get it if you want or if you're lucky from the traveling merchant you can get the alligator gatling.

Any of them will give you a good start if you can craft an onyx blaster or get the rare hard type of uzi either of them will be even better. The onyx blaster or uzi, dart gun and dart rifle are actually quite useful on their own, or you can create special darts with any of them to inflict additional debuffs and change weapons in terms of attachments in this point again. you want to equip that ranger emblem and if you didn't get it, fight the wall of flesh some more because you'll probably want it, make sure to fight the regular impersonators when you see them to get the philosopher's stone, the cross necklace, the star. cape and so on you can combine the philosopher's stone with a regeneration band and that will be great, the result is the charm of myths and that is a great item, you can combine a cross necklace with a star cape to get the star veil which combines the abilities of both, so that's cool too, each of the biome mimics has a chance to drop one of the good weapons I mentioned above, so fighting those two will be much more difficult, you may need prepare yourself before. start fighting them, be careful of the skeleton archers in the cavern layer, they are kind of a bane of my existence, but if you are a ranger, you must eliminate them because you are looking for them to drop the magic quiver.

Skeleton archers have a The chance to drop the magic quiver is a great item that increases the damage and recoil of arrows, it also doubles the speed of arrows and also reduces ammo usage, so if you are using streamlined weapons , the rest of the game that magic quiver is a blessing. Once you have some wings, you may want to swap out the boots for a defensive or damage-boosting accessory. You should always reforge your accessories. You can go for threatening if you want to maximize your damage output or, more likely, if you want to survive, go for protection. increasing your defense now with armor will do, basically you get plus three or plus four for defense or you get plus three or plus four percent for threatening or for damage or critical hit, but yeah, most of the time, especially on expert and In the master mode, you'll probably choose to guard because defense is important, but if you're really good at dodging that kind of thing, you can go for damage.

If you are on a crimson world, you may want an acre based weapon or use icker ammo. I know some people call it i-core, it's actually correct either way for corruption based worlds. cursed hell was improved in 1.4 and was improved again in 1.4.1, so the damned hell stuff is useful now too. It didn't used to be that good, so in terms of hard mode bosses, queen slime, queen slime is also an optional boss, so it's not really important for ranged players, the main reason you would fight queen slime as a ranged player it would be To get the wing slime, riding the crystal assassin armor again is also a good option if you don't want to collect the new oars or if you like having some of that stuff and want an easier upgrade if you find that boss fights are easier in terms. of a load of adamantite, titanium or frost armor are the best options available, you can do it with less, you can mix and match a little if you want to get that crystal armor.

Any bow or repeater on hard mode is viable, especially shadow flame or deadlift. The storm bow will work particularly well in this fight. Holy arrows will generally be the best option, except if you're using the shadow flame bow, um, because that inflicts a debuff, uh, with uh, I don't know if they're just wooden arrows. Forgot or did I, anyway inflict a shadow flame with the shadow flame bow uh, likewise any meat wall weapon can do the job in this fight, the onyx blaster or the uzi would be the ones. best available right now for weapons, the best bullets at this point will be glass bullets, which basically shatter and do a lot of extra damage.

Whether it's the dart gun or the dart rifle, they can also work well against Queen Slime with either crystal or icker darts. You can use a fast mount on good terrain or a combination of wings and boots the best wings at this point will be fairy wings, fin wings, frozen wings or harpy wings, they are all statistically equivalent amphibian boots again, my go-to for most boss fights, the amphibian boots will help you improve your Fly on your vertical takeoff, uh, so even though the Lightning Frostbark or Terraspark boots are faster for running on the ground, usually I use amphibians to dodge vertically up to you, the ranger emblem is more or less essential for the rest, good for most of If not all hard mode gives you that solid boost to your damage, the magic quiver will be a big help if You are using air base weapons, other good accessories include the cross necklace or star veil, the frozen turtle shell, the band of regeneration or the myth charm, even better, you can use the putrid scent if you have one. extra slot or even the shark tooth or stinger necklaces if you have slots available, they will still give you a little boost in our expert.

Master mode definitely uses Confusion Brain or Worm Scarf. Cthulhu's shield can also be very useful for dodging the board. Don't forget your food potions and the ammo box to give you other important upgrades again in terms of Queen Slime loot. The main thing for a ranger is the passenger gelatinous item that summons the wing slime mount. It's actually a very useful mount when fighting the mechanical bosses which are next, so the mechanical bosses I'm just covering the three here a lot of the equipment. will remain the same as for Queen Slime, particularly for the first one you fight, the destroyer is immune to all debuffs, so one thing is that the frost armor will not be as strong against the destroyer, particularly the weapons that They pierce or are Good for hitting multiple targets will be better against the destroyer, while against the skeleton skeletron prime and the twins, which are the other mechanical bosses, you should optimize the damage to a single target when facing them with bows in hard mode or repeaters with sacred arrows or in difficult mode. crystal bullet guns will work against all three bosses, the deadliest storm bow and onyx blaster are particularly powerful options for all of them, the dart gun or dart rifle still work well, crystal darts or icker will work well against any of them.

Cursed darts are really good against the destroyer in particular, the destroyer has a lot of segments so you want things that are going to hit a lot of segments at once once you've defeated them, also the probes, um yeah you want to take them out too and uh, things that go through and damage both multi-segment probes at the same time, cool, uh, once you've defeated the destroyer, you can create and use the mega shark against the others. It's a great weapon that you only get after defeating the destroyer once you've done so. 54 holy bars, you also have the option to create the holy armor set which is excellent, it has a holy protection set bonus which can be a big help, very powerful and useful, basically the same effect that the holy armor used to have titanium in 1.4, it's now on the holy armor and basically gives you a free hit every once in a while so you don't take as much damage, so hello, the armor is a good option again if you're using arrow based weapons, the magic quiver has a significant advantage;

Otherwise, the accessories remain the same: the ranger emblem, the star veil, the charm of myths, etc., the brain of confusion or the worm scarf, as well as the shield of cthulhu, remain cool, expert and in master mode. The passenger wing's gelatinous slime mount is a good move option and can save you accessories. slots if you are using a mount like that you can swap in a couple more accessories and attach your wings and boots; otherwise in terms of strategy use high platforms against the destroyer high enough that it can't reach you easily and you can basically take it down for the most part um so I usually take on the destroyer first it's up to you but I use that asphalt bridge against the other two bosses, so what I do is set up your platforms, fight the destroyer, and then replace the platforms with asphalt.

The blocks and asphalt allow you to run very fast which is very useful and helps you avoid those other bosses so basically a big long asphalt bridge, make sure to equip your arena with perks again like heart lanterns , campfires, bass statues, gnomes, all that kind of stuff. terms of loot from the mechanical bosses again the mega shark once you've defeated the destroyer is a great option once you have enough holy bars, if you have some left over or aren't crafting the holy armor you can craft a holy repeater from from version 1.4.1, you can also craft the super star shooter which involves holy bars in those versions, while in 1.4.0, after you have defeated the three mechanical bosses, you may get the super shooter from the merchant walking. so it's just different 1.4.0 you get it from the traveling merchant 1.4.1 onwards you create it after defeating any of the mechanical bosses uh the life fruit will start to grow faster in the underground jungle you'll want to get those um Lo sorry I think it was after defeating one of them also for the superstar shooter in 1.4.0 uh but yeah you want to collect life fruits in the underground jungle, when you can start increasing your life you can get 400 to 500 using afterlife roots.

You have defeated all three mechanical bosses. You can create the Avenger emblem, which is basically an additional emblem. It gives plus 12 percent to all types of damage, while the ranger emblem is plus 15 for ranged damage only, so if you're only using ranged items. The flowers around may be better. If you're mixing it up you can use the Avenger Emblem and increase all your damage or if you have a free accessory slot you can use both or if it's better than what you have you can use it. Both emblems stack and have bonus damage on top of the bonus damage, which is an excellent strategy.

Again, once you have 54 holy bars, you can craft the holy armor. You will also need to create a drax or pickaxe from the souls. Of the three mechanical bosses plus the holy bars, the drax or the pickaxe, either of them allows you to mine chlorophyte, which means you can create glorified armor, this chlorophyte shooting bow, etc., glorified armor has a Higher defense than any of the first arms. The previous armor sets are just frost. The armor comes close, it's only one point behind, but with glorified armor the damage increases are mediocre, they are similar to the higher levels of armor you could get before that, but the difference with glorified armor besides a that's a good defense. adds a crystal blade above your head that fires automatically and deals good damage to enemies, another type of thing that is useful when you are wandering around, however you may want to save your chlorophyte because you will need it to make armor of shrumita later, which is What you are definitely going to need, so if you have tons of chlorophyte, you can create glorified armor right away.

If you're having trouble getting enough, save it. I would say to get your shrumite later, you can. It also creates chlorophyte bullets which are great, especially if your aim is bad. Chlorophyte bullets target your enemies and make your life easier after defeating any of the mechanical bosses. You can also fight the old man's army level 2, the only new ranged weapon in the old man's army level 2 is the ghost phoenix dropped by the ogre. It's a decent weapon, it can be good if used well, but that's it, so Plantera is the next boss after the mechanical bosses in terms of equipment for Sacred Plantera or Chlorophyte. or I would say only if you are on 1.4.1 and up, frost armor will also be one of the best options.

Any of those three have their own benefits depending on whether you want offense and debuffs or defense or protection. A weapon like the mega shark, the uzi, or the onyx blaster will be excellent against the plantera. You can use crystal bullets for maximum damage or chlorophyte bullets for homing abilities. I would choose glass if you can aim decently at all. Only Daedalus Stormbow can be used. against plantera if you have a very large open underground arena because the arrows come from above and that will only work if you have a lot of space above it, the chlorophyte bow is also a great option with holy arrows or icker, so if you are a bow user , it will probably be your option to go to the chapo chlorofito, don't forget your magic quiver if you are using arrow-based weapons.

The dart gun or dart rifle can still work well and you can use them with icker or curse darts particularly again, you can also use the dart weapons as a way to inflict a debuff and then switch back to another weapon so you can inflict flames damn and then switch to another weapon which is also an option, you can use them. You're good enough that you can use them as your main too. Make sure to again collect as many life fruits as possible before this fight. Ideally, it reaches 500 health attachments and the boosts remain pretty much the same as for previous bosses, hopefully now.

You've picked up some items that weren't so easily available at first in a bezoir or its derivatives. Ideally a unique shield will help against Plantera again to avoid being poisoned as the other jungle boss will also poison. Make sure to use your ranger. The Avenger emblem and emblem can also help. You'll probably want wings and boots unless you're using an alternative strategy like a minecart track or teleporting to a large, mostly open arena and ideally knocking down the back walls, which makes it a much better place to Fight Plantera because she will cling to the back walls so if you have a large open area and knock down the back walls she is probably your best bet but there comes a point where she will also be a problem because if she does she will also become enraged if You don't have enough jungle blocks nearby, so make it big, but there is a limit at the same time.

I don't think background walls count towards that, so don't worry about that in terms of plant loot. Important direct drop from plantera is the temple key to enter the jungle temple, don't lose it or you will have to fight it again. She will always drop one of the seven weapons. The only ranged weapons are the Venus Magnum and the grenade launcher. Super important, but they both have uses for her or maybe you just want them, so don't worry if you don't get them, unless you really want them and then you can fight her again. The traveling merchant after defeating Plantero will now do so.

I also have the pulse bow potentially available for sale. What you have is random, but that's when it starts to become available. The cyborg npc can also move into a house if you have a house available for him and will sell you rockets for launchers like the grenade launcher. and so on, the most important thing for remote players is to buy the Truffle Fall Automatic Hammer. If you don't have a truffle, you'll need to create a surface mushroom biome which is basically just a bunch of mud with um mushroom grass seeds planted in it to grow grass and you need a hundred blocks of grass and a house on or near uh for the truffle to move and then he will sell you the autohammer, very, very important for ranged players, uh the The autohammer allows you to create a screw mite armor that you will then use for the rest of the game until you reach Moonlord.

You can also use the autohammer to upgrade rockets three and four into mini nukes in 1.4, so yeah. bigger explosions, basically, uh, at this point, if you have a jungle key, you can use it to open the jungle chest in the dungeon. The jungle chest contains the Piranha Gun, which can be very useful at various points in the rest of the game. a good idea to farm bone blades in the dungeon, basically there are a lot of new things in the dungeon after defeating plantero, one of the enemies is bone, if you keep fighting and killing them you will eventually get the tabi and the black belt and you can use them.

To create the Ninja Master Gear, combine both with the Tiger Climbing Gear, which itself is a combination of shoe spikes and climbing claws, all that DIY workshop, you'll need the tabby, the black belt. Shoe spikes and climbing claws make tire climbing gear to match the black and brindle belt. The brindle black belt and tiger climbing gear equal master ninja. equipment and that is tremendously important and useful for certain specific boss fights, particularly the rest of the game, but I definitely recommend getting it, it also allows you to dodge quickly but also allows you to avoid some damage.

Excellent item, you can also get the sniper rifle. and/or the tactical shotgun and/or rocket launcher while in the dungeon. um, if you get a rifle scope, definitely save it for later, you'll want it too, so next up in terms of bosses, the golomb. so again against the shrew mite golem armor is now the way to go from here on out for the rest of the game. Simply choose the helmet that matches your weaponry. He has three different helmets, each of which matches a different type of ranged weapon. The piranha gun again. a good option against the golem, it used to be my option in previous versions of the game, I used to be able to immobilize his arms, but he doesn't do that anymore.

However, the piranha weapon is still good against the golem, so it is an option in terms of weapons, the mega shark, the uzi or the venus magnum with crystal bullets will be better against the golem, the tactical shotgun or the bullets of chlorophyte can also be used, especially if your aim is bad, go to your chlorophyte tactical shotgun shoots an extension, so you can have a variety of glass bullets or a variety of glorified bullets, all hitting, so it's a good option. The pulse bow with the highest damage arrows available is an option due to the way it bounces and has the ability to hit more than once.

It will actually bounce around the jungle temple chamber and be more likely to hit the golem that way, so pulse bows are good that way. The Chlorophyte Bow works well with this fight, either with Santos or Icarreros and the Nail Gun, which you can get. of solar eclipses also works again, solar eclipses, there are some new enemies after you have defeated the plant launchers that can be used against the golem, but only if you can avoid taking damage because the launchers you have at this point will damage you, so if you are skilled or daring enough you can do it, most of the accessories will remain the same, changing the master ninja gear if you have it again helps you dodge and avoid damage in terms of loot from the golem, the golem has the possibility of dropping the eye. of the golem that can be combined into the destroyer emblem, so the eye of the golem plus an avenger emblem equals the destroyer emblem.

It gives you a ten percent increase in damage and an eight percent increase in critical hit across all damage types, making it better than the avenger's emblem just because it's both damage and critical hit, overall its better the destroyer emblem can also be combined with the rifle scope i mentioned to make the sniper scope the sniper scope is better for ranged weapons its plus 10 for both damage and crit only for ranged weapons distance, uh, if you're mixing things up, the destroyer emblem might still be better because it applies to all damage types. I recommend specializing, but maybe that's just me, if you're using minions, if you have your three minions, then. the destroyer emblem might still be better, the destroyer emblem and better yet the sniper scope is more powerful than the first emblems so you might want to swap them in place of your ranger or other avenger emblem as you know, calculate, make your decisions, eh, those.

These are generally going to be more powerful, although the golem can also drop the sun stone which is used in combination with a bunch of other things to create one of the best items left in the game, the sky stone and then the sky shell, either. Those will actually give you an additional 10 damage boost, plus defense increases your health regeneration and more basically, how it all works is that sunstone plus moonstone can be combined in your tinkerer's workshop, uh, on a celestial stone, while a lunar amulet. and a neptune shell can be combined into a moon shell and then you combine both products, the celestial stone plus the moon shell into the celestial shell, all of that takes place in the handyman's workshop.

The golem can also drop the stinger, which is a good weapon and counts as a caster in terms of your shrewmite armor headgear. The stinger is actually a good option, so we'll talk about some events next, like the Pumpkin Moon and the Frost Moon, which we'll start with here, both very optional events for rank. players, they can do this at any time after plantera or later and can be skipped entirely if they wish. There are some ranged weapon options available in Pumpkin Moon, but nothing that is really necessary in Pumpkin Moon. There are a few things that can be useful, but there are a couple of very good reasons to do the Frost Moon as a ranged player specifically, uh, that would be getting the chain gun or the snowman cannon, which are great weapons in this stage of the game, you can confront them before the golem. but I would leave them for later, when you have those stronger accessories and such, um, in terms of equipment again, the real armor could be the stinger and the pulse bow, both can be effective weapons, particularly against the crowds that you will encounter in these events, if you are using weapons, crystal bullets will generally be the best option for taking out enemies and bosses, the chlorophyte shooting bow should generally work in these events, although it may not be a very strong option, you can also wait a bit further. until you have fought Duke Fishron and then can use the Tsunami Bow which is more powerful than the Chlorophyte Shooting Bow, it is a very powerful bow, the attachments will mostly stay the same, you may want to optimize your weapon options.

A little different way to deal damage against these events because one of the things is to beat them as quickly as possible, there is a time issue, you definitely want the celestial shell or the destroyer emblem or the sniper scope, if possible, a good arena constructed using jungle temple traps and a lava pit. It will help a lot. Boss drops are more frequent the more waves you complete in these events, so try to reach the later waves, you will be more likely to get the weapons and other drops you want by using food and upgrade potions to increase damage. and defense is important to get through them quickly, so you'll want to take advantage of every advantage you can get to get to the last few waves as quickly as possible to increase your chance of getting the drops again.

You can check out my potions guide in the upgrade potions section for some options in terms of pumpkin moon loot, you are looking for the meat launcher, candy corn rifle and pumpkin launcher, they are all decent weapons and any of them could be useful to fight the other event, the frozen moon, although it is not a specific class, if you are in expert or master mode, you can get the witches room mount, which is also very good in terms from the frozen moon loot, you are looking for the chain gun or the snowman cannon, the chain cannon is basically a much faster and more powerful mega shark, while the snowman cannon is an excellent guided launcher and the other big advantage is, besides aiming, it also doesn't hurt you like the normal rocket launcher, so the snowman cannon if you really like blowing things up, it is a great option, but there are other events too, so next up, Martian Madness, so again you can do Martian Madness before or after Duke Fish Run.

I suppose in theory you could do it before the lunar events, although I can't. So it all depends on what is easiest for you at the moment. I would probably do it after those other two events. Hopefully you have a good arena set up. Martian Madness is also a very optional event. You can skip it entirely if you like the main releases. Rangers are the Xenopopper and the Electrosphere Launcher, both launched by Martian saucers in the Martian Madness event. In terms of your

loadout

, your weapon options will be very similar to the pumpkin and frost moons, the stinger, or the glass bullet oregon. take down enemies quickly the chlorophyte bullets might be better against the second phase of the saucers, once you take out their weapons other than the beam they will move much faster and that's where the chlorophyte bullets can come in handy, the bow chlorophyte shot or Better yet, Duke Fishron's Tsunami is still the best bow option.

Use them with sacred arrows. Sacred arrows are the most powerful. Some other arrows will be faster, so it all depends too. Again, your magic quiver, your archery potions will help you with that speed, but. If it's still not fast enough, you can switch to poison arrows or icker, in particular, they will be faster and easier to aim. The Jack-o-lantern launcher can also work in this event, but the snowman cannon will be particularly useful if you like launchers, the aiming snowman cannon will be great and the area effect as well as accessories again, they are mostly the same. use the master ninja gear to help dodge the saucer beam, as the droplets are mainly coming from the martian saucer.

You can use a fast flight. a mount or arena that is high above the ground to help avoid the other enemy spawns that will mostly be lower near the ground and that will help you focus on the saucers. The dishes are very difficult, but it's time to do it. It is possible to time the dodge under the beam when it stops, so it may take a while if you haven't done it, but you can get the pattern of when the beam fires and then stops. You can dodge underneath. the other direction when uh before the beam starts again it's the beam the beam is the bane of your existence when you're fighting the event and the saucers in particular, but they have some good loot so in terms of loot, the xeno The popper is basically a shotgun that shoots small bubbles with a short delay and then fires bullets, so it often works well with Chlorophyte bullets because the homing effect of the Chlorophyte bullets makes up for that small delay which makes it harder. aim, if you can master aiming despite that delay, then crystal bullets can make you extremely powerful.

They are still the most powerful option if you can control your aim. The other thing, the electrosphere launcher produces area effect explosions that don't damage you, you basically shoot it and it explodes where the cursor actually is and it creates this little field that just does constant damage to anything in that field, so it can It can be surprisingly powerful against slow-moving enemies and for holding off crowds coming at you, but could be tougher against fast-moving things. Some of the other attachments and mounts can be quite useful as well. The brain encoder element summons the scutlix mount, which is a ground-based mount that moves quickly and shoots lasers from its eyes.

It might be fun, uh, the cosmic car. The key summons the Molten UFO which is a very good mount if you are into classic, it might be the fastest flying mount you can get and also the anti-gravity hook is actually very useful. It's my go-to for one thing. I'll talk about that in a second, so technically you can fight Duke Fishron at any time after defeating the wall of flesh at any time on hard mode, but he's a very difficult boss, so normally I would fight him on this stage of the game after the golem. maybe even after a couple of those events, he's also an optional boss, so you don't have to fight him, but it might be a good idea.

The main reason to fight Duke Fisher is so that Tsunami has as many fish wings as he can. The drops are pretty nice too, so if you fight him after Plantera, use your shroomite armor. If you decide to try to take them on before Plantera, holy armor can work because of that holy protection that will save you some damage. The piranha weapon. If you have it, you can hook it and keep doing damage while dodging its attacks, as long as you can hold down the fire button, that will allow you to focus on dodging the xeno popper or the chain gun with chlorophyte bullets a little more.

Otherwise it's probably better, other weapons may work too. You can face them with previous weapons. The Icarus Chlorophyte Shooting Bow still does the job quite well, as does the stinger. The snowman cannon is also a great option. Again, it moves fast, so the location stuff comes in handy. It's not absolutely necessary, you can get more power in other ways, but locating things will make your life easier if you have trouble aiming or dodging, and even the electrosphere launcher can work against Duke Fishron if you use it correctly, you should aim for those fields, so the strategy Against Duke Fishron is to build a long asphalt bridge just above the ocean surface and then use fast boots and wings again.

Amphibious boots are definitely the best because you need to dodge as much as you can, that vertical dodge speed will be very useful, be careful, no. leave the ocean area because he will get angry and you won't like him when he is angry so keep him in the ocean area that's why I suggest you build a long asphalt bridge right above the ocean surface that will help you move quickly horizontally . and just keep him in that area and don't leave because you don't want him to get angry. You'll definitely want the ninja master gear to dodge and avoid damage against Duke Fishron.

Very extremely highly recommended again in expert and master mode. This is where I like to use the anti-gravity hook because in expert and master mode he has a third phase where he teleports behind you all the time and I find it very difficult to dodge him, so what I do is I just hook the anti-gravity hook. something and just spin in circles and basically that's good enough to dodge it pretty well, just keep circling and shooting and hopefully that'll keep you alive, so in terms of Duke Fishron loot, the tsunami is the main reason to fight against him for ranged players.

There's a one in five chance he'll let it go. It is a very powerful bow that shoots groups of five. Parallel arrows for each shot you make, fish wings are the best available at this point in the game. However, there's only a 1 in 10 chance of your fish wings falling off, so you have to really want them. They are excellent, so you might want to. keep fighting them until you get them, that's up to you if you are in export or master mode, he will drop the shrimp truffle in the treasure bag which summons the cute rum mount fish.

It's a great unlimited flight mount if used in a water filled Arena or during rain or submerged in liquid, basically the cute Fishron mount, you have to keep it wet to make it fast and if you use it you can keep it wet in a flash. form or another, whether through a giant arena filled with water. or have a little bit of uh you can make bubbles or little pools you can use bubble blocks to catch liquids in the air and just pass through them or you can just dip into a puddle of water or you can just wait for it to rain and that .

It will move very, very fast when wet and that will allow you to change your wings and boots again for two additional accessories, so it can be quite useful, but next up, the ancients, army level three, is still a very difficult event in this stage. and it's a largely optional event, so you can postpone it or you can ignore it completely. The number one drop that might be desirable as an ancient army tier three ranger is Ariel Bane, who is another powerful bow in terms. A level three

is only available after you've defeated the golems, so you'll definitely want to use your shrew armor for the earlier waves, the stake launcher, pulse bow, or candy corn rifle can work well. against the crowds because they pierce wherever they pass. more than one enemy, so facing all those enemies in the previous waves that may work well will not work against the boss in the end, the xeno popper will be the best weapon and the chain gun will be the next best. crystal bullets might be better, you might want to switch to chlorophyte bullets if you're having trouble aiming, especially against Betsy, she flies quickly, that's that dragon in the corner, that's the boss at the end of wave seven, she She is very fast, very strong.

Um, so you might want to switch to glorified bullets once you get there or when you get to wave seven, potentially tsunami is also highly recommended. You can use it with whole arrows to deal maximum damage if you wait until after defeating. the empress of light, boss, then the uniform tide is really excellent against crowds, furthermore, the uniform tide is very, very good again, drill, we will talk about the snowman cannon is also particularly effective throughout this entire event because it has an area and location effect. and the electrosphere launcher can also work uh also uh certainly in the previous waves if you can aim well um you know, have Betsy go through your fields that can also work the accessories will be very similar to other post golem fights against the glowing stone of the golem i didn't even mention that it drops from the golem this is one of the few places i would say it is definitely useful, you can use it to heal between waves or even during waves, basically you just need to equip it and stand still and it will heal you quickly, so the glowing stone has its uses, but not when you know how to dodge and run and stuff.

Obsidian skin potions can be very useful for level three wave seven of the ancients. army because Betsy will set you on fire and the obsidian skin potions will prevent that from happening so keep that in mind if you need a little bit of an advantage on that last wave in terms of level three loot here for ranged players again the most drop Important is the aerial bane bow, the chance of Betsy dropping it is one in four, so you may have to fight throughout the event. You know that potentially four or more times you can have better or worse luck than one in four.

You might get it the first time. it reaches number 20, so it's up to you how much time you want to spend on it, but the aerial nightmare shoots arrows that split into five and fall downwards. It's actually very powerful against crowds and bosses because it actually deals a lot of damage when those arrows are falling. Betsy's anger is another weapon that Betsy can unleash. It is a magic weapon, but it can still be useful in lowering the boss's defense even further. It's basically very similar to an icker effect, but much stronger, it lowers your enemies defense quite a bit, so that's another thing. that you can have that on your hotbar, switch to it very quickly, deal it to the boss and then switch to another weapon to do damage, so if you don't mind mixing classes, it's a magic weapon for you, but below, the empress of enlightenment the empress of light is a very difficult boss and completely optional the bow even tied is the only ranged weapon she has dropped and it is not really necessary to have it although it is certainly useful in certain situations, on the other hand, only expert and master mode The Soaring Badge can be very useful against Moonlord.

She will always drop the sky high badge when you defeat her in expert or master mode and that is very useful against the final boss Moonlord, so you don't need it at all, but if you want to have all the edges you can get, you can take on the boss very difficult to get the item to fight the other boss very difficult it's up to you in terms of equipment again the Shrewmite armor is the best unless you want to fight it during the day in which case it's actually better go back to the sacred armor because that sacred protection ability any of her attacks if you fight her during the day will kill you instantly if you get damaged and that's where the sacred protectioncan save you a hit here and there so you can survive again, also ninja master equipment is somewhat random and can have the same effect.

The confusion brain can do that too, so all of that can basically increase your chances of survival if you decide to fight during the day, which is something you only do if you want something specific, we'll get to that in a moment, otherwise fight her at night, be happy in terms of weapons, the xeno popper with chlorophyte bullets is probably the best option because most of the time she moves very fast. The chain gun and several others can also do the job. Crystal bullets are even more powerful if your aim can keep up with her and sometimes she stops, she doesn't exactly stop, but she slows down and does her little Sundance thing and that's it. it's time to hit her with something a little more powerful, tsunami with ice or poison arrows for accuracy or holy arrows for damage, an aerial nightmare can also work quite well against her snowman cannon again, a great option because it targets and severely damages the Electrosphere launcher is very powerful, uh, when it does that slow moving Sundance, so you can combo, you can have a few different weapons and switch to certain ones at certain times so you can use, you know, for example , which you could use your xenopopper with glorified bullets for aiming most of the time or the snowman cannon and then you can switch to something like the tsunami or the electrosphere launcher when she does that slow move to deal you extra damage and again you can inflict debuffs like icker betsy.

Anger those things to give yourself another small advantage, you can also optionally use those minions I talked about a while ago in terms of accessories, although again it should be more similar to Duke Fishron's fight, it's a similar type of idea, she moves Quick, what you need. to dodge, so you'll definitely want that ninja master gear, ideally an asphalt bridge again will be very useful here, fast wings like fishron or betsy's and again amphibian boots for that vertical takeoff dodge effect, the heavenly shell , the sniper scope and any All your emblems are still important for damage output etc, if you kill a boss faster then he will have less time to kill you, but you will generally be better at dodging on foot, a fast flying mount will give you allows exchange. more accessories that increase damage, but you'll have a harder time dodging, even with the faster mounts, it can be a little difficult, so you'll probably want your asphalt bridge and all your accessories to dodge, eh, but if you have something like say cute rum fish and you can keep cute rum fish wet, that might be viable and allow you a couple of extra accessories instead of those items, so again, don't forget your ammo box, food potions, arena upgrades, all those things that you are going to fight it with.

In general, in the sanctuary, I think you should do it. You can do it too. Another strategy is to use a long-loop cart track with booster tracks and potentially bumpers. If you're on expert or master mode then you'll definitely want the mech card if you're I'm going to try the mine cart that's what we did in our multiplayer series and I wouldn't say it worked perfectly but it did work we mixed and matched some of us did it on foot, some of us did the mine cart, it depends on If you fight her during the day, reforge your accessories to be threatening; otherwise, you'll probably go for protection if you fight her like a normal person at night, in terms of loot and why you'd fight her during the day.

We'll get to that. She drops the evantide bow which turns wooden arrows into five twilight spear projectiles, so you'll probably want to use it with wooden arrows. One of those twilight spears doubles the base damage, only that one converts if you're using it. other types of arrows, so if you use other types of arrows, you'll be left with a twilight spear, which I think also doubles the damage, but just with wooden arrows you get five. The spears and arrows point to the cursor location, allowing you to choose between precision or extending the spears to pierce through enemies, which is why it's particularly powerful against multiple targets and why you'd use it for a couple of those events, like As mentioned above, spears are not actually reflected by enemies that would otherwise reflect projectiles. and that's why it's also useful against one more upcoming event when you're fighting the solar pillar during the lunar event.

Having sunset is very useful for fighting Selenians who otherwise reflect your projectiles and are a big pain, so that's a place where you might want and even need this. She can also drop empress wings which have a useful rapid rise ability. I think you hold on while you fly and fly even faster. Your expert or master mode item again. The flight badge can also be used. very good against moonlord how it works is the flight badge combined with wings you need wings and the flight badge and basically it takes those wings and allows unlimited flight which allows you to dodge much easier so that's a strategy when you get to moonlord es you have your wings and your flying badge and you can fly constantly and that's what it does generally, if you can fight it while doing all the damage only during the day, you can't do any damage during the night so the strategy is Summon her before dawn. and then wait until dawn to start damaging her by fighting her shots, so that also requires a hugely boosted detachment because she is enraged during the day and anything she does will kill you, so if you fight her during the day, do all. your daytime damage survives those instant attacks and only then will you be able to get one of the best summoner items in the game, the terra prisma minion, it will be extremely difficult, i have never done it, i haven't even tried, but the terra prisma is extremely powerful and it's one of those very legendary

terraria

items, it's a summoner item so if you're against mixing classes you won't want it anyway, but if you want to do it, if you want the glory. or if you think you're going to need it then you can do it and that's basically it for the empress of light so now we're approaching the end of the game and next up is the lunatic cultist so the lunatic cultist when defeating him starts the event late game in terms of equipment, although homing weapons actually take a damage reduction penalty in this fight, they are still the best option, a good weapon like the xenobop xeno popper chain gun or even an earlier gun with bullets chlorophyte. will take him down pretty quickly, so those chlorophyte bullets will zero in on the real cultist and damage him really well even though the damage reduction crystal bullets can still do it even faster if you can aim really well, but the lunatic The Cultist travels extremely fast, so Chlorophyte Bullets will generally be the best and easiest choice for most people.

The Snowman Cannon, for similar reasons, is very effective in this fight. Take out the lunatic cultist by aiming at him, but he's also powerful enough to take out the ghost dragons very quickly too, so the snowman cannon is a great option if you want to use a bow, the tsunami is still your best option, you don't have spotting options there, but it's very powerful, so if you can aim, use it. your tsunami you can still take them out pretty well. Another option here, actually, is the piranha weapon. Let's bring her back. The piranha gun mainly avoids the aiming problem, so I don't think it suffers from that damage reduction.

Because it's not actually a target, you're throwing it at Adam and then they're just stuck to it, so the piranha gun avoids that aiming problem once you manage to pin the piranhas to it and therefore you can prevent his summoning, so he'll summon like fake cultists and stuff if you cast the Place the piranhas on him to prevent him from summoning them, which is cool, so that also makes him a useful option, although the damage, otherwise Otherwise, it's a bit minor overall, for this fight you'll want to prioritize dodging and movement. and then the next thing would be to prioritize the accessories that increase damage again.

You can use fast boots and wings or you can use a mount for more damage accessories. A relatively simple sand should do the job. You can use asphalt if you want, but really even just some. Platforms maybe with some stairs will do the job. You can build them right above the dungeon. You start the fight by murdering the fanatical cultists who are worshiping at the dungeon entrance, so you'll want to have an arena next to the dungeon. To approach the fight in terms of loot, the Lunatic Cultist doesn't actually drop much, but the one thing he drops is extremely important. the old manipulator, please put your old manipulator in a safe place, don't lose it, don't accidentally throw it away. or whatever it is, it's a crafting station that you'll need to craft end game gear and if you don't have it you'll be missing out on some of it which will make the end fight so to speak a little harder so just wait .

Continue with your old manipulator when you defeat the lunatic occultist, but then the celestial pillars aka the lunar event, technically the lunar events I think are everything after defeating the lunatic cultists, but the focus immediately after is the celestial pillars and his charge against the celestials. The pillars are, ideally, again, that's where the Evening Bow of the Empress of Light is one of the strongest options for the lunar event. If you use him again with wooden arrows, you'll get more of those spears he shoots and those go. to go through the enemies so you can damage multiple enemies at once and you can target them and all that, so it's a good option, the tsunami with holy arrows is also still a good alternative if you don't have the even tide and want to use a bow or just in general the xeno popper with crystal bullets is the most powerful weapon in terms of aiming, although chlorophyte bullets will also work well again, the xenopopper has that little fire lag situation and I always find it difficult to aim due to That's why I usually use it with glorified bullets.

Crystal bullets are more powerful if you can aim. The chain gun is your next best option. You could probably use others, but I used one of those if I could. Snowman cannon again. very powerful for this event, homing and high damage and splash damage clears mobs pretty well, chain or sorry electrosphere launcher can also clear crowds pretty well if you can target those fields so say it, once you've defeated the vortex pillar you can create. and use the weapons from the fragments you get from the vortex pillar on the rest of the pillars and the rest of the game.

It would really give him the advantage. You have two weapons that you can create with your vortex fragment. I'd give the edge to the phantasm personally, but the vortex beater is also a great weapon, I guess maybe it depends on if you like bows or guns. phantasm bow vortech speed o gun. A little less emphasis is needed during the lunar event on movement speed, you want to avoid more damage and increase it because you're going to have a lot of different enemies coming at you and you can't really dodge them all constantly as effectively, they're going to come at you , you will want to delete them and you.

You're going to want to just avoid being harmed by them with things like your equipment um ninja master and all that kind of stuff that gives you a chance to not be harmed because you're going to have a lot, a lot. of them come at you and um, it's best to just not damage yourself, let them know that sometimes they pass through you, anyway, sands aren't really necessary for pillars nor do you really have a chance to build any. The easiest strategy is to simply stay close. the edge of the pillar area and you can take out enemies that way and if you get too hurt you just leave the area and the enemies will stop coming for a bit so basically you just keep going like this until they stop coming.

You no longer see little red lasers shooting out when you defeat each of those enemies, and alternatively, now in 1.4 there's a nice health bar for this. There wasn't before, you just have to watch out for the red lasers, but you can look at them. lasers now when you don't see red lasers firing when you kill enemies that's a sign or you can look at the health bar when the blue part of the health bar disappears then the shield should be down or when those red lasers stop being there . being shot that indicates the shield is down and that means you can go and attack the pillar itself because until you defeat enough enemies that pillar has a shield and you can't destroy the pillaruntil that shield is down, so destroy the enemies, destroy the enemies. destroy the enemies until the shield is down and then attack the pillar in terms of attacking the pillar itself, most of the weapons I just suggested should take down those pillars pretty quickly, especially the ghost, if you're willing to mix it up classes, although a nimbus rod is remarkably powerful. against the pillars themselves, it's a magic weapon that you could have kicking, basically you just spawn a couple of clouds with the nimbus rod over the pillar once the shield is down and that will take it out very quickly, so in terms of loot again, good.

For rangers, the important loot comes from the vortex pillar, so the ideal is to confront the vortex pillar first, get the vortex fragment, create powerful weapons and that will help you get through the rest of the pillars. The solar pillar is arguably the hardest so be prepared for that, uh, be careful to stay on the ground when you're fighting the solar pillar because the Cralpedes will attack you, those are the big worms that fly in the sky and They'll only attack you when you're off the ground, so stay on the ground, but of course, solar pillar, their melee enemies, they'll attack you a lot on the ground at the same time, so you know, mix and match a little, uh, when there's a crawl, try to get to the ground.

Be careful with the seleniums too, they are the ones that reflect many types of projectiles, but they don't reflect the sunset bow spears, so the sunset bow is particularly good against the solar pillar. The nebula pillar can also be tough, so use it quickly. homing weapons when you fight nebula pillar enemies because that way you can take out those enemies quickly before they catch you, they will fly very fast and teleport if you use fast homing weapons you can take them out before they have a chance, it's You may want to wait to finish the last of the four pillars so you can make your preparations to fight the Moon Lord because the Moon Lord will automatically appear shortly after you defeat the final pillar, whichever one you can.

Take on all four in any order, but the idea is to first the vortex pillar and then save one of them, uh, to make your preparations for the Moon Lord. When you are ready, take the last pillar and then you will fight the Moon Lord. There's also a little lag in the middle, but you know you have to allow yourself to basically do your basic recovery, but you want to be prepared in terms of loot again. The Vortex Pillar drops Vortex Fragment so you can create the Ghost or Vortex Whisk from 18 Vortex Fragments. In the old manipulator, the ghost is a very powerful bow that fires even faster as you hold down the fire button, so when you start shooting at a certain speed, hold down the fire button, it fires every time faster, it's auto fire plus each hit you land on an enemy with the ghost fires three additional ghost beam projectiles that deal 30 percent of the damage of the original hit uh or the original um arrow that hit the ghost rays doesn't consume ammo and the bow itself has a 66 chance of not consuming ammo, making it very ammo efficient and very powerful in terms of arrows.

Ghost arrows do not pierce and will not work well with most piercing arrows. Ghost bolts don't pierce and don't work very well with armor piercing arrows. arrows because it is very fast, some of them may not land, they may not hit if you are using piercing arrows, so for now you will want to use holy arrows or icker arrows or maybe worst case scenario arrows poisonous, works very well. with the post moon lord luminite arrows but you have to defeat the moon lord to get the luminite and get them so you know you're not there yet so yeah for now holy echo or poison arrows with the ghost, the vortex beater is the other weapon. that you can create a gun, it is one of the most powerful weapons in the game, it adds guided rockets in addition to your shots, the rockets are fired almost every half second that you fire the gun, so again, it fires automatically, just hold fire, but in this case, if you go faster, every now and then fire one of these guided rockets and those guided rockets do not damage you and, again, they go to the vortex beater and they also have a two-thirds chance of not using up ammo, so they are both pretty. efficient ammo and both are great options and are generally upgrades over most previous weapons, so you'll want one or both and those will be your options, probably against Moonlord, so speaking of Moonlord, your loadout for Moonlord Again, Shrewmite's armor is the best set available until you've defeated him, so use your shroomite, use the ghost.

I would especially recommend it if you like Bose or if you prefer weapons, you can certainly use the vortex slider, it is also very powerful holy arrows will do the most damage with the ghost, but it will definitely be much better if you use the magic quiver and potions of archery because the magic quiver and our archery potions greatly increase the speed and damage of your arrows and sacred arrows. They are a bit slow, so ideally you want both. You can also use the ghost with icker or poison arrows for faster base speed, whether you have those other things or not, those will be faster and that will help you aim more. easily but not as much damage as holy arrows, the vortex beater on the other hand can do more damage with crystal bullets, but after you have destroyed its eyes you may want to switch to chlorophyte bullets so you can focus more in dodging because, for example, Each of the Moonlord eyes that you destroy, you understand if they ghost, I forget what they are called anyway, these other things that follow you and try to kill you too, so you are going to run away a lot more.

From the eyes you destroy, he will have more things following you, you will have to dodge more and that is where the chlorophyte bullets will allow you to focus on dodging once you get that far, at least if not from the beginning, if you are not good at aiming, you may want to use them all the time, have plenty of bullets ready, you will need them if you are using a bullet gun and arrows if you are using an arrow gun. lots of ammo anyway, other options if you want alternatives, the doom aerial bow will be good too, the electrosphere launcher is still quite usable if you use it correctly and of course the snowman cannon again aiming for big damage too is a great option o If you are really dedicated to launchers, um, the electric sphere launcher and the snow cannon, um, if you are playing with a launcher, maybe I don't know that they are good options, anyway, the speed of Movement will be essential to avoid the Moon Lord's powerful attacks.

It doesn't help you much against the moon lord, most of his attacks are powerful enough, it won't really matter much how much defense you have, you have options of strategies, although one approach is the asphalt bridge with fast boots and wings . In expert or master mode again you can also use the flight badge along with some wings to do unlimited flight and maybe that will help you avoid building a bridge in the first place or you can use a combination, maybe you want that space to increase damage. you only have your asphalt bridge and just the wings alone up to you, another approach, although it is a fast flying mount again, the cute fishron mount may be the best option if you can keep it wet, it is the fastest mount in the game if you keep it wet One way is to create a huge underwater sand and use the light blue shell to avoid drowning.

It takes a long time to pour enough water to have a huge area to be able to dodge well enough, but that's up to you, you can also just dive and again you can also use bubble blocks to catch puddles of liquid in the air, you can even catch little puddles of honey for regeneration, they'll give you a little boost there while you get your cute fishron back up to speed, the mount itself is faster when fully submerged, but still pretty fast if submerged often enough, there's a little icon Timer If you want to be careful, waiting for rain is also an option, although its time and duration are difficult to predict, you never know how long the rain lasts.

It's going to last, you never know how long you'll have to wait for it to rain to be able to do it and that can save you a lot of other efforts, but it's also less predictable if you don't have it or don't want to. to use the cute fish, run, the witch's broom is the next available or the next best mount in expert and master mode, it's the next fastest, it can fly, it can very effectively dodge all of those things, particularly since 1.4 .1 onwards, it's actually slightly improved so that's why it becomes the best in those classic and normal versions, classic aka normal, the ufo is the best mount you'll ever get, it's not that fast1 .4.1 onwards before 1.4.0, they actually have the same speed, but the witch's broom still has the advantage that it doesn't disappear in water, while the UFO does, but that will be your best option on classic difficulty on In terms of a flying mount, however, you can even use the hex branch mount if you have a nice long bridge.

I think it's just expert and master mode, although it's also a very, very fast ground mount. I've even done it a long time ago. I did it with the scuttlix mount, but you'll have a hard time with that on higher difficulties because it's not as fast. You can also use the winged slime as a little downward dodge trick if you ride the winged slime with a quick mount button you will actually fall faster than you normally would so you can use it as a quick downward dodge down, but that's a more advanced tactic and that would be if you're otherwise using non-movement wings or boots.

While prioritizing accessories to prevent damage and increase damage, Ninja Master Gear is basically essential, especially if you're on foot, you'll really want it for both dodging and if you're on foot, you'll also want it for dodging, but in both cases, avoiding damage is helpful. The star shroud for similar reasons is useful because it prevents damage and also when you get hit the stars fall and damage the moon lord, if you are fighting and don't mind mixing classes adding a minion summon can help. The Stardust Dragon is the obvious choice among the Stardust Pillar's Stardust Shards, although it may be a bit limited in its power due to your limited minion capacity as a ranged player, the start of the cell staff is also a good alternative, unless that light dayfighting empress got the Terra Prisma, in which case it will be best again?

You can use summoning potions and the spellcasting table buff to get a couple extra summons just so you know, unless you're an absolute ranged purist. That will definitely give you an advantage. Additionally, Betsy's Rage Magic Weapon will be very useful in inflicting the debuff and lowering the Moon Lord's defense. The Moon Lord has a relatively high defense, so lowering it is good for Betsy's rage and also useful for lowering that, I think. You can use both at the same time and that will increase your damage against him. You can also do it if you are very lucky or spent an incredible amount of time.

If you have the Rod of Discord you can use it which you can basically use to teleport from one side of his beam attack to the other, that would be the use case if you have the Rod of Discord of Speech which can be very helpful in dodging that beam, but don't use it too much because then there is that state that Yes, you will eventually get damaged if you use it too often, but it's kind of a countdown anyway, don't forget your ammo box, food and other upgrades and potions, you'll probably need them. Moon Lord is tough, you can even create some supers. healing potions before it appears if you have some extra fragments from all four pillars, super healing potions require fragments from all four pillars and if it's your first time you will only have those pillars after defeating the last pillar right before it appears. and you have that short period to try to create some super healing potions, but they will certainly help you if you have the shards in terms of the moon lord drops, the sdmg and the mark of celebration ii, each one has a chance of one in nine to fall when you defeat.

The Moonlord The SDMG is possibly the strongest weapon in the game with high damage and high rate of fire. He's not as fast with the chain gun but has much higher damage. Celebration Mark II is also more accurate. Celebration Mark II fires randomly. one of seven different types of fireworks-looking rockets, yes, they areIt is affected a little by the type of rocket used, but not completely, it won't generate liquids, dirt and stuff, but the damage and stuff will still drop several powerful ones as well. weapons for other classes and some other interesting items. The Celestial Starboard is always dropped into your treasure bag in expert or master mode.

It has the longest flight time, the fastest climb and also has a horizontal flight compared to other wings, plus it has a cool rainbow trail. more you know, then the celestial starboard is certainly fun if you are on those difficulties and there is one very important thing that you can craft after you have defeated the moon lord as a ranged player, you can craft the vortex armor which is the final post. end of the game because you have defeated the Moonlord ranged armor set with the highest defense and biggest boost of any ranged armor set in the game.

It also has a switchable stealth mode which gives you near invisibility so it actually slows down your movement but greatly increases your damage so you can go into stealth to do a little extra damage but you won't escape too quickly if you notice it's crafted . The Vortex Armor Set is crafted from 36 Luminite Bars and 45 Vortex Shards in the Ancient Manipulator so you can Actually, you will probably need to defeat the Pillars and the Moon Lord more than once in order to create the vortex armor and, well, at that point you're done with the game, but at least you'll look cool and, if you're still spending time, I don't know building or exploring or whatever, then you'll be very, very powerful with your vortex armor.

That's all. I hope you liked the video. Thanks for watching, please subscribe if you haven't already and I will. until next time goodbye for now
